Photography Competition

Do have a gift with the camera? Do you love sharing your talent? Do you want to help a great cause?

"Where Love Resides" Photography Competition needs you! All entry fees will go directly to help bring Alyssa and Mary home to their family!

Where does love reside for you?

Competitors will submit an original photograph fitting with the theme "Where Love Resides". Color, black and white, raw and edited formats accepted. You may submit as many entries as you like but each must have their own entry form and entry fee. No pornography (must be appropriate for all ages).

A panel of judges will judge the photographs using the following criteria:
Application of Theme
Originality
Use of Light
Overall Appearance
Composition
Emotion

Three finalists will be chosen and then voted on in a public online poll. The first place winner will receive a beautiful personalized marble plaque to display in their home or studio. Entry fee is $25. Deadline is March 1st, 2012. Photographs will be displayed with recognition to the photographer during the competition so please check by often to see other's work.

Quilting Competition

Do you love to make works of art with fabric? Do you love sharing your talents? Do you want to help a great cause?

"Where Love Resides" Quilting Competition needs you! All entry fees will go directly to helping Allyssa and Mary come home to their family.

Where does love reside for you?

Competitors will make a 8 inch quilting square using only fabric and any thread of choice. Other materials such as embellishments, jewels, etc are not permitted. Must be strong enough to withstand being quilted and machine washed. Must be clean (no swear words, no graphic imagery, appropriate for all ages). You may submit as many entries as you like but each must have their own entry form and entry fee.

Quilting squares will be judged by a panel of judges based upon the following criteria:
Quality of Workmanship
Application of Theme: "Where Love Resides"
Originality
Design Elements
Overall Appearance
